This game is excellent and already feels like a hidden pulp gem. I really enjoyed the darkness gated exploration and how you push out further into the world by lighting up screens and finding new campsites. That darkness mechanic is implemented very effectively and the visuals looks great!
This was SO MUCH FUN. Such a good mechanic and a really cool map to explore. I don't own a playdate so played it with the SDK so I can only imagine how it runs on the hardware. Felt sort of like a demake of the underground world in Tears of the Kingdom in the best way?
Would love to see if you decide to take this any further!
